For this project, I’ve pulled Alice from Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Caroll into the world of Doctor Sleep by Stephen King. We find her in her dotage, at Helen Rivington House, a hospice in New Hampshire where Dan Torrance works as an orderly who helps patients cross over. His niece, Abra Stone, shares a talent with both him and Alice. The Shining. Both stories involve the other-worldly adventures of a young woman, evil women obsessed with their own power and a character in a top-hat. This letter takes place after the events of both books, in response to a message Abra has written using her shine.
